Current package is 9.5 LPA
Current role: Consultant/Tech Lead

Citrix: 21.44 LPA + 1Lac Joining Bonus + 1 Lac relocation + 1.08 Lac Shift allowance P.A.
Role: Escalation Engineer

Mind Tree: 22.53 LPA 2 Lac Joining Bonus.
Role: Migration Lead

Please suggest.

I have an approved I140 from previous employer and current employer hasn’t started GC yet. Been on H1B since 10 years now, so if my new GC doesn’t start before my H1B is up for approval in 2023 cont.

I have completed 2 years in Accenture yesterday(joined as an ASE) ...can I expect an email today from company stating the promotion to SE ? (Not asking if it will be applicable)

Rewatching Brokeback Mountain, which came out 15 years ago (hard to believe that). Anyway, it's still an outstanding, devastating film (and love story) that I think if had been released 10 years later would have easily won best picture and best actor for Heath Ledger.

Take victories and defeats as equals! Nothing will teach young soldiers more than making mistakes in the heat of battle that almost cost you your life. If you're still breathing, there's something to learn. Listen to it.

How different are the physical requirements for men vs women? I'm thinking of the Navy specifically but would welcome insights from any branch of the military, thanks

Are there a lot of openly gay male soldiers?

The feeling of avoiding mines buried on the gorund is one I carry at all times, and I remember the fear and the anxiety at every step. I still feel like this today, like every decision I make will lead to disaster.

I'm not sure if I love this life! I was entirely sure when I decided to enroll in the military, but after a few months, I felt exhausted. Could I have made a mistake?

What do you think is the most psychologically taxing part of being in the military? I think it's that you're taught to suppress yourself.

We as the armed forces of the United States have a research department, but the greatest advances at the armament level come from private sectors, this could not be something counterproductive because if they sell a product to us, what deprives them of selling it to other countries?

I always have faith that everything will make sense, and we will move into a better era. Sometimes it's challenging to maintain that faith, but it's always there.

Getting into the military helped my feeling of abandonment due to my father's absence. It sounds funny, but being in the military showed me another type of parenthood that I needed.

If we analyze our military incursions in the world, we entered Vietnam and Afghanistan, and in neither of them, we have done very well. We have had many casualties, and they say that this is normal in a war. I think we have a problem with military planning, who thinks the same?

Many movies romanticize the sacrifice of one soldier and leave them as a hero, but I have always thought that I hate that. Why would someone need to lose his life to be a hero? I believe the mere fact that we put our life at risk in service is enough to be a hero

Is the military a well-paid career? I’m asking for my future.
