Google hiring is such bs these days. I was ask to apply to a job by the actual hm on the day the posting came out. I literally have all the preferential requirements + and hr rejected it in less than 24 hours. lol. The hm asked me why I didn’t apply… hr told them they couldn’t find me…. Totally normal. Why do we try so hard to work for a company that fundamentally only wants a certain type of employee. Smh

Deciding on a career path

I feel like my brain works like a consultant, and I would enjoy consulting, but I also looove all things finance & investing. While I don’t necessarily have extensive experience in the field (most of what I know is self taught, my major is accounting), I want to get involved in it somehow and learn more.

I currently work in audit, I’m not sure what exit opportunities are an option for me for the investing/finance industry. Feel like chances are are slim. Any advice?
