Got a call to interview as a fund accountant.. any thoughts on future prospects for this job..?

I have been working in healthcare clinics and health techs for a few years now. I’m an independent consultant. Bust, a friend of mine referred me to a big bank job. The role is of data governance manager. What should I know for the interview, or how can I prepare for it? Any thoughts? They told me I don’t need financial background. Data is data, but they wanted to know metadata management and how do I build frameworks/implement enterprise systems.

What will be the management level in accenture for 6 yrs of experience ?

Should you discuss salary range with an internal company recruiter prior to setting up an interview? With external recruiters it’s pretty easy to talk about the expected range. I am trying to avoid wasting all of our time if i get to the last interview and they are expecting a salary that is too low for me.

Anyone here who made the exit from Big 4/MBB consulting to a VC? If so, I’d love to hear about how the experience is so far. (Not to mention the WLB and comp!) I’m considering a career change but have no one in my network I can go to for insights. Thx! 🙏🏾

MIS Junior here. Should I graduate next May and start working or get my Masters in MIS and have 1 more internship? I have had two internships already (Business Analyst & QA/Automation Scripting) and I am interning in Cyber this summer at a Top 10 firm. Anyone have any advice or insight on interviewing for a GS General Attorney position? I’m really excited and working to prepare for an interview I’ve been offered. It’s 3 part, on one day. 2 one on one interviews and a panel interview. For reference, it’s a position in an agency that’s involved in both trade and national security. I’m a litigation junior associate in private practice now, but have a long academic background in international trade, policy, and security.

I was interviewed for a perticular customer, which went well and also received an offer. Few days before of my joining date, i came to know that the technology stack from customer got changed and customer had no requirement for which i was hired. However parent company still hired me and now they're in process of allocating me in some other clients. Sometimes i feel insecure about this situation. How to cope up with such cases?

Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Or should i just try to find a job with a salary that covers a nanny salary and accept that i will never see my son on weekdays (which would be sad for both of us)? TIA!
