Got a note from an internal HH at a large corporate today asking me if I were interested in a “Strategy & Analytics Manager” role.
Guys… come on 😂. I know reading is hard but my title and years of experience are in my LinkedIn.

I was recently reached out to see if I'd be interested in a high school principal role. I asked the recruiter - what in my profile stood out for them to reach out with such an incredible opportunity. I never heard back after that.

These are usually terrible recruiters that "keyword search" and mass email people for resumes.

Nope. No TFA before. Probably just the title matching in their keyword search

I heard from a random LinkedIn recruiter recently who asked me if I were interested in a gig. I’m in business school as a sponsored consultant and said I wasn’t, and she replies asking why I won’t consider it, that the least I could do is talk to her, etc. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wrote back suggesting the role may not be at an appropriate level. HH: “Ok, I understand your position but we would still be happy to screen you for this role.”

I pretty regularly get spammed for entry level roles, usually in BA roles. Occasionally I'll get spammed for mid level healthcare finance related roles...which is how I started out my career 20+ years ago and haven't touched in nearly 20 years.

I once got reached out to by a recruiter at my former company for the exact position I held at the time…

Oh my, I can’t complain anymore than. I though it was only me a measly mid level being offered junior level roles by random head hunters

I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.
I’m not sure the best way to approach this. Has anyone else had a similar experience or know how I should advocate for myself?

Very specific to retail and/or hospitality in-house roles: has anyone found a good solution for predictive scheduling? Our retail division has one set of software for scheduling and one for payroll, and neither of them can handle predictive scheduling compliance issues unless they’re used for both the scheduling and payroll functions. I’m coming up empty on ideas for them to bridge the gap, but I’m also new to my compliance counsel role, so I would be overjoyed if anyone has suggestions.

Hi everyone,

I'm going for a role for Account Director and have gone through the interviews with the head of accounts, BD as well as the ECD's. I received the following email at the end of the day:

"You are one of two candidates in the final round.

One thing we haven’t spoken about are your salary expectations. Could you have a think and let me know early next week as well as your employment status (residency permit)."

What would be the best way to answer this response? Appreciate the help
