I'd be very cautious. Booz has a very weird culture and your job satisfaction is highly dependent on the team you land with. It could be good or could be awful. The C-suite lacks vision and was caught flat footed last year. Its White House ballroom donation reeked of desperation and it revealed that they are little more than a staffing company despite what they say.
15k is barely 1000 a month after taxes. I wouldn’t leave my job for that

You not telling us the percent of how much higher the pay is tells us nothing. Are you making 50k? Then yeah 15k is a lot. Are you making 200k? Then honestly that wouldn’t really move the needle for a lot of people.
Rising Star
You said you got the salary you asked for but why would you only ask them for a 15% bump? Would’ve probably asked for a 30-40% raise from what you are currently making.
Congrats! Booz is hiring in general for projects and capability.
There’s no hard cap on “bench time,” and candidly, we don’t carry much bench to begin with. After the 2025 slowdown on the Civil side due to the DOGE-related impact, along with the recent Treasury cutbacks, we’ve adjusted and stabilized when it comes to the bench. Stock? I mean, everyone got hit, so buy the dip.
We rarely do layoffs (2025 was the exception, not the rule). Even now, a few colleagues have been on the bench for 60+ days and remain in good standing.
Compensation-wise, bonus eligibility starts at Senior Associate and above. Beyond that, merit increases can be meaningful. If you’re producing, helping drive business, and making a real impact, those increases stack on top of standard annual raises. Performance is rewarded.
I don’t know which sector you’d support, but if you’re in Engineering, you’re in a strong position. Same goes for Cyber; demand remains durable.
Net-net: the fundamentals are solid. Booz isn't perfect. We've had to adjust like many to the current landscape in/around DC.
Don’t chase money. As long as you’re making market at Booze, why take the risk of a job and a culture that you may not like?
