bonus letter received?
I gave an interview in Accenture and the manager wants me to move to Hyderabad, but I'm comfortable with the Kolkata location. I've cleared two rounds and now the Hyd manager is telling me that if I move to Hyd otherwise they will not proceed with my application any further. Can anyone suggest to me what can be done here?

Depends on what your end goal is. If you plan to leave to industry and are only doing it for the big 4 manager resume experience, maybe EY would be better. At the same time, anyone looking at your resume can see how much total experience you have. Historically PWC has had more staff/associate years. EY sent out an email about the gift of gratitude today… and there was no money involved, so that should tell you how much Ey cares about retaining its employees. EY also needs to be looking at its compensation model and, while it’s not like anywhere on FB would have any compete details, the rumors are smaller base salary increases and larger bonuses. As for the systems, it might take awhile to get used to them from what I hear. EY systems are horrible.
Don't take manager without the $. It's way more work and stress.

How about you tell EY their offer is too low and negotiate
More responsibility and less money? No way
Why would you do that? You’re going to get manager at Pwc too, and will stay on the higher pay scale. Just wait a year
What's the manager milestone award?
Negotiate, EY will say yes
For your reference that’s what I did
Stay at PwC and you’ll likely get promoted. Not worth the few months qait
Tell them it’s lower than what you are making and expecting as a manager salary and counter
So you are making more as a senior than what EY offered for a manager position? Absolutely not.

While this isn’t common, it’s possible. My friend left EY to go to Deloitte. Both were senior positions. Her senior salary was higher than the M1 salary at my office
What feedback did you get to get pushed back another 6 months? Honestly they may be doing you a favor…promoting you too early and you would be rated against managers at CRT - could result in lower rating/bonus…since you are a senior you will be most likely rated higher for your acting manager contributions and hopefully get promoted…you could go to EY and be manager but if you aren’t ready, you will be rated lower and that will be the first impression, will be hard to dig yourself out

New title won’t matter if you have no experience as a manager when you leave PA
You would also be forgoing the manager promotion bonus. In addition, PwC’s performance bonuses are much higher on average.
I’d stay. The cost of rebuilding a network, coach, and learning all the different in house tools is not worth for just a title change that you will get soon anyway. I switched from Deloitte and have to say there is value to knowing your way around firm specific tools
Main reason I'd consider the offer is I feel like I have lost trust in the people I work with after I was promised a promotion which did not materialize then hear that the office hired a couple of new managers externally.
I don't know what retention bonus the managers got.

EY will give you the title and more money if you ask for it. I got an offer for tax manager as well and ultimately turned it down. Decided to still with pwc
Negotiate for the amount you think you’ll get for manager at PwC. You’ll probably get it
EY has now matched their offer against what I have in PwC. Now I don't know what to do. Should I accept the offer? Quite scared at what is in EY or if it would be worse if I switch. On the other hand, I was hurt too much by the promotion mess. Gosh! This is making my indeciseveness worse. Help!!

I would do it if you plan to stay for a few years but if the goal is to get title and leave shortly than it’s better to stick with pwc

Why would you want more work for less pay? With more work should come more pay. And new title will not help you get an industry job if you have no experience as a manager anyway
