Just had the worst internship experience at EY. No one to report to, project scope is a mess, people frown upon networking, counsellor defends the team for every mistake they make, and no transparency

Mixed messages on billing hours Official policy is that everyone is supposed to bill all their time on a project. However, there is also immense pressure to stay on budget and do quality work
Few weeks out of consulting: realized today one of my analysts (in role for 5 years) does not know pivot tables. Fun times

What is the best message when informing the rest of your company that someone was terminated? The backstory is that this employees performance has been struggling, he was put on a PIP, and in recent convos, he’s said that his role isn’t for him. As he is getting terminated due to performance, it feels more amicable now that he knows it’s not working and that he needs to find a new job. Thoughts on message to the rest of the company?

Hey team - would appreciate your feedback I'm currently a SC at Guidehouse making ~$100k. Very bored but considered a strong employee and on manager track. I have an offer to join D GPS as an SC with 20-30% more pay. The work would be similar. If I stay at Guidehouse I would likely apply for an MBA in Fall 2021. But if I join D, that would delay an year and I would apply in Fall 2022. What would you recommend from MBA and career sense? At this point, I'd be applying for an MBA at age 31/32.
