Hello everyone! I am unable to put the work that I’ve been doing as case studies on a portfolio site, even if password protected. I was thinking about making a slideshow style case study on Figma. Is it better to send it in a PDF format anyway or can a Figma link work?

I'm working in the US under H1B, I got a chance to face an interview for another company. My current company started the PERM application also and results will be out within the next 3 months. About to get promoted at PwC from Associate to Senior Associate (mgmt consulting). I interviewed at Deloitte for a Consultant position, but they’re potentially giving me an offer for BA. I’m interviewing for a marketing manager role at a company based in SF. I’m genuinely excited about the role and the company but we’ve yet to discuss salary. What’s the best way to compare lots of data with time stamps? I.e. you’re trying to evaluate the time different steps in a process take for multiple line items (10000 rows)

Current approach I’m doing is to subtract the times (in hh.mm.ss) from each other to get the duration of each step. Not sure if there’s an excel time stamp function that would make this easier. It’s not working well for times that were late PM and bleed into early next day AM.

What should I reasonably expect from a junior?

I manage a junior developer that's been with the company for about 18 months. I end up providing them of TON of support. I need to give them extremely detailed instructions or they fail. For bugs, I need to point them to a specific function that's causing the bug. For new features, I'm basically writing their method signatures and defining their test cases.

I've tried asking them to do more on their own, but when I do, they fail spectacularly.

Is it common to negotiate software engineer salary at smaller companies? I know it’s common at FAANG, but what about for companies with around 200 engineers? I have a counter offer from my current company and on-site interviews scheduled for end of July with google and Amazon, but I’d prefer to go with the smaller local company if I can negotiate the salary (from offer letter) up another 5% or so.
