Got reached out to by a recruiter for a Principal Consultant Role at Infosys. Does anyone know what the equivalent t level is at big 4 firms and any insight into the role ? Thanks!

Depends on if you're looking at Infosys consulting or Infosys limited. Infosys limited a Principal is like a senior manager, Principal at infy consulting is Manager at B4.

It will be with Infosys Consulting, not IL. Probably comparable more to Accenture. Most likely will lead engagements at the client site where there is an initial strategy ideation phase for 1-2 months and then a pretty long development / implementation phase where you engage with the developers from IL. Lots of agile, requirements gatherings, UAT, that kind of stuff.
