2019 - $74K - raise
2020 - $81K - changed job Nov. 2020, Government
2021 - $92K - changed job Oct 2021, non-attorney role. Analyst for insurance.
2022 - $98K - raise
2023 - $115K - got offered a new job back in government dream position. I know its nothing compared to private lawyers but very happy to getting a job offer like that.

Anyone heard good things about CFGI? I’ve heard their comp structure is gimmicky with overtime pay. But if I could make the same base there as I do in big 4 with the chance of some overtime pay is it worth it to give it a shot?

I manage a junior developer that's been with the company for about 18 months. I end up providing them of TON of support. I need to give them extremely detailed instructions or they fail. For bugs, I need to point them to a specific function that's causing the bug. For new features, I'm basically writing their method signatures and defining their test cases.

I've tried asking them to do more on their own, but when I do, they fail spectacularly.
