Run.
Not on here. Switch to DM
It depends on the sector and team, but I’ve enjoyed my time in the National Security Segment (NSS).
+1 for NSS. I’ve been here since the PWC days and love it. My team and partner are awesome which is really what drives it.
OP I would base the decision on the impression you get from the team members you interview with
We’re fine. Widely varies by sector though.
I’m being referred for a position in ESI by a friend. Seems like my perfect role based on the description, just hoping I can land an interview. Can’t tell if it’s public sector or large corporations but either way I think it would be a good fit. Any advice on the interview process if I land one?
Thumbs up in public health sector
Don’t do it. I recently left and am only just now starting to realize how bad it was.
Run dude. I was NSS. Run.
Oh man haha. This is definitely giving me pause in making the switch
Based on the bowl you’re asking in, you don’t have much to worry about. GH has worked thru a lot of change, leaving PwC and merging w Navigant. The federal side is pretty good and stable.
As always it depends on the team, director and partner.
If youre joining AS. Run!
I’ve worked at 3 firms now (went from Deloitte to GH in 2019) and the differences in “culture” made maybe a 5-10% difference on my enjoyment of the job. Priorities should be team + pay then think about the company as a whole. If you don’t like the “culture” don’t take part in the company wide BS. Bill your hours, sell some work, build a relationship with a couple partners. Think that model works everywhere.
I’m in public health and desperately trying to get out
Really depends on team. From my experience NSS is mixed bag, depending on your teams.
Navigant side overall seems good, and Financial Services under federal is great.
It depends on the team. I’m in ES&I and while it was good initially, I’m looking to leave at this point.
