I’m interviewing for final round of the entry level area manager position at Amazon. I’m working on multiple stories related to the leadership principles. Can anyone provide me some tips regarding the role?
There are 16 leadership principle and I’m thinking of creating some stories around each but the thing that concerns me is what if the questions they ask are related to the same principle and I might have already used up my stories. Something like that. Can anyone please help? Amazon
Has anyone interviewed with Amazon in the last 6 months. I finished my loop for a finance role. It’s been 8 business days and no update from the recruiter. I mailed the recruiter who said apologies for the delay but we will get back to you with next steps. Has anyone had this experience and what was the outcome Amazon

First, it may went great from your point of view, but it doesn’t seem your interviewer agree with that sentiment. Or maybe they found someone greater.
Second, most if not all companies, communicate rejection via email. It has nothing to do with your rapport with interviewers. You don’t get second place prize when it comes to interviews. It’s not like they will share any specific feedback. So it’s really just a one way communication
You were not the only person interviewing for that role

A lot of jobs don’t even email back that you didn’t get a job. What personalized process were you looking for?
Also company context is important. We have over 700k people and interviews constantly. It simply isn’t feasible to have a non automated process. If you don’t want to be treated like a number then apply to a company with a significantly smaller headcount.
This is standard stuff. Recruiters never call you to say you were rejected. They are trying to avoid exposure to lawsuits by discussing why you were rejected.
