How often do you think you will be traveling in 2022 with COVID mostly behind us? In the final interview/negotiation stages with an agency focused on pharmaceutical marketing as an Account Manager. Offer states up to 30% travel (but was told 20% is more realistic). No further info given such as location of accounts I'd be working on or a baseline other AMs travel. Feels like a red flag. Not interested in much travel. Quarterly is manageable. Any insights from others in similar roles??

I am still awaiting offer from Capgemini as I have cleared interviews and completed documentation there too.
My question is should wait for Capgemini's offer? As they haven't been responsive to any of my mode of communication.

Just had an industry interview and the internal audit team was only 2 other people which seems small to me. Is there a rule of thumb for how big should expect the internal audit team to be?

I feel like I was straight up lied to during the interview process. “lots of opportunities to hit quota”. I’m sitting here with only one demo two months after joining the company. it looks like our team has only two people doing demos, and demos are only happening once every two weeks. At this rate, I don’t think I’ll be even close to hitting OTE. Are there any other companies hiring right now? I’ll have a discussion about my concerns with my manager soon, but there’s too many red flags here.

Sort of a stretch but looking to make the move from Business Development to Conference or Corporate Event planning. Any recruiters for that kind of thing on here or anyone have any advice/tips?

Does anyone else just feel incapable of doing interview prep after several instances of making it to the final round and getting rejected? I have another final round interview tomorrow but I just can’t seem to care because this is the fourth time in 6 months I’ve made it to a final round! I’m tired lol. How do I stay motivated? Can you help explain why a team would be able to afford hiring an individual under PDM at a higher salary but unable to offer the same package under the Traditional route?

For context, I’m currently negotiating for a role and have expressed some of my concerns. My recruiter has been very helpful, but I’d like to better understand the reasoning before making my decision. The offer is $100k for PDM, but $85k max if brought on as Traditional.

I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.

For next year my goal increased by 2.5X, and less of what I bring in counts towards that target. I really enjoy my job but I will essentially be getting a large pay cut. Lost in what to do besides quit??

Advise on handling rates negotiations with BIPOC and non-male creators? I always want to accept first bid and get uncomfortable when my bosses push to undercut rates (especially now when money is tight), because there is a whole history of BIPOC and non-male people getting paid less. I’ve tried to push back but struggle to articulate this to them. (For the record, I’m POC female and my bosses are white males, and race/gender convos are already very difficult with them.)
