Has any consulting company started any layoffs?

I have one question -coming 2023 year maybe recession hit worldwide economy. Can we worried as a accenture employee? Any news for mass layoff for recession?

Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? The acquisition was public so they can see Im no longer employed with the most recent work history on my resume

Which agencies are going through layoffs

Is it just me or do 90% of the jobs being laid off by big tech sound made up? Many job descriptions with multiple bullet points that all kinda revolve around the same idea. One of my buddies works for a big IT company and literally just sits on meetings all day. No one really contributing to anything other than agreeing to whatever the speaker is saying. Are these kind of jobs finally being exposed? Six figure employees getting paid to sit and bounce ideas off each other?

What should be the salary expectation for a senior software engineer role in bolt, Estonia.
I am currently at CTC of around 45 LPA in banglore in a growing company and trying to figure out if it is wise to go to another country especially considering the layoffs and potential global economic slowdown.

@PPMDs, what are your thoughts on the current/impending COVID specific layoffs at your firm?

I have not been on a project for over 3 months. Since I joined, I have been put in training. The training got extended by a month and now it's close to 4 months since I joined and without a project.

What should I do? People say that I'm lucky to get paid without doing any work, but it is stressing me out. I need the experience. The uncertainty is freaking me out, with rumours of layoffs and the certification program and all.
