Has anyone applied to SEC NY office recently? I did so a few months ago and got silence except a couple of emails last month saying my application was finally referred to a human hiring manager

For McKinsey PEI (power round), should my stories be around 5-6 minutes containing a good level of detail, or really generic (~2 minutes) and just let the interviewers ask me questions on what they feel are most important to them? I’m really eager to present the details because I think these are elements that can show my fit with the company well, but am hearing some people say that >2 mins people get lost. But some details are important to provide background (industry specific)…

I have applied for the position of a consultant at Accenture and am currently ongoing the interview process.
I have successfully cleared the Skill 1 and Skill 2 interview rounds and was now expecting that the next would be the HR round.
I have been mailed that there is there is a third round before the HR round that is going to conducted the next week.
Skill 1: Pure Technical
Skill 2: Semi Technical + Managerial

What you I be expecting in this third round?

Been in sales for 7 years (door to door,telecom,BDR,) I interviewed for a closing position and after submitting a demo presentation and 2 mock emails they have moved be forward for the last “wrap up call”. Any tips and advice for this?

Does this mean I’m being highly considered? Or are they just going along like many companies do. This is a Norway based Saas company.

I am currently working as a PayPal AWF/CW in contractor's payroll for the past 3 months. I heard many got converted from AWF to FTE. So what is the process for FTE conversion? Should I clear some Interviews? Also how much would the salary increment be? On par with regular hiring? Any minimum time limit of being in AWF before FTE conversion?

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.

I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? Recently I have been looking for a job switch. I have recieved an offer from a startup company whose client is hpe. HR round was taken by a HPE manager too. They told they have 25-30 employees in hpe. They have other clients like Deloitte, PWC .
He told after 6-8 months of performance I can be in direct payroll with HPE.
So is it a good idea to join ?
Or shall I look for other jobs ? Please help ..

I took a temporary job as an attorney advisor at the SBA this past fall b/c it offered a regular paycheck, and my solo practice was suffering b/c of the pandemic. I like the work. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any more specific information other than what I would be doing is “generally commercial litigation.” Can anyone share insights on what this may entail? I applied for two positions at a district court that say ‘open until filled’. I’m going on a cruise in a few weeks and don’t want to miss hearing from HR.
The posting says due to the high number of applicants do not follow up, you will be contacted if chosen for an interview.
How much will it hurt me to email and explain that I will be unavailable from 9/5 to 9/16 but I am extremely interested and don’t want to miss hearing from them if I have a chance for the position?

After completing 20 years as a Law Enforcement Officer with the Feds and on the way getting a JD and passing the Bar… trying to transition to an Immigration Attorney position… easier said than done!

Has anyone signed a contract to work for X amount of years with the government and then broken that contract? Are there repercussions? The contract was two sentences that said I would work for X years. That’s it. I cannot find any information online about what happens if you hate your new job so much that you quit. Anyone?
