4 weeks is a big ask and pretty much an entire year's worth of PTO. You also need approval from your talent lead for leave longer than 2 weeks. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't think you're going to be able to go that far in the red on PTO or get it approved.

My manager told me you can take up to two weeks in advance. That’s obviously something you’d have to get them to approve before just putting it in the books and saying I’m out the next two weeks.
Historically, unless it’s a medical issue, they will try to keep you from going any more than 40 hours (one week) in the negative. If you ask for more than that, just be prepared for a portion of it to be unpaid. If you’re ok with that, and you can collect all the approvals needed (project and OP lead) enjoy the time off!
