Has anyone done the PgMP course and exam? Is it worth it?
I got my PMP and while I didn’t see an impact on my career, it was great for organizing all the bits of PM knowledge into one cohesive framework, but I’m not sure about PgMP.

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

Working as business System analyst( BA).
Would it be a good idea to switch role to business analytics. I have worked in software projects before but have never worked in the data project. I feel bored in business system analyst so want to move to some technical role.

I am interviewing for a new position as a Senior Program Manager and I need to give a salary (I have asked for range but they won’t give it). I have 15+ years experience (PMP/CSM). This would be a for profit, international company. I am curious what others are being compensated at for this title (base, bonus structure)?

How useful is having worked with the PE practice (deal strategy, CDDs, etc.) of a consulting firm vs any other one when trying to break into PE? I understand it's probably better to come from such units but I wanted to understand in which ways it helps. Is it actually irreplaceable skills vs understanding of sector dynamics vs pure prestige?

How hard is the path from lit to GC?

Looking for advice (& empathy): Started out in advertising, then became a journalist. Moved to the US for grad school, and back to advertising few years ago. Now stuck at a company where I’m deeply unhappy but they sponsor the visa (not H1B, so it’s not a huge ask). Also not too sure of advertising as my heart is still in journalism but this pays the bills. Wary of other companies that might push me into working (most) weekends and evenings +Still don’t fully understand the US job market. Tips?

Y’all I am struggling on these “light” home improvement projects we decided to take on with a recent house purchase. Plan was just to replace carpets, paint some walls, and replace kitchen appliances. Now added on new faucets, other bathroom hardware / mirrors / toilets / medicine cabinets / exhaust fans, baseboard recaulking and cleanup, kitchen sliding door, ceiling fan rewiring and install, window replacements… how do I rein it in?? Hello! I’m currently a Administrative assistant now working at a major medical system in Baltimore. I’ve previously worked for 10 years as a medical assistant in a variety of specialties and primary care. Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit stuck as to my next step. Part of me want to go into management, another part is saying go get your RN, and the other is saying go into Social Work. I’m all over the place. Any ideas? And how would I be able to cross over to management?

When a new type of project comes in and you get assigned as the PM to “figure out” the project plan, how do you go about resource allocation? Sometimes I struggle to know what the team configuration should even be, because we’ve never done said project type before. It’s hard to know what type of people should be assigned, and at what % time, when there isn’t a preexisting process or work breakdown structure for the deliverables I’m being handed to “manage.” How do/would you handle?
