I have received an offer same day of interviewing before. It was fine!
I did at my last employer. Even threw out a number at them I didn’t think they would meet but meet me in the middle & I got full asking offer same day as second round interviews. Absolutely the best professional decision I have made to date. Good luck to you & whatever decision you choose to make.
I got an offer same day and I was happy about it. Honestly, if this is where your head is at then things are going to be tough. If they are in desperate need then there is more opportunity for your progression. If you are looking for a easy ride then you should have told them up front and there should be nothing to worry about. If you get a offer the same day, then that says they liked you and you have more negotiating power.
One thing I have come to learn in the last couple years is that every hardship or challenge lies an opportunity. This is obvious in the stock market and obvious in the job market. The problem is we easily focus on the hardship and get defeated by it.
It’s not a red flag. It can actually be because they know who they want and do not want to risk losing that candidate. I’ve had it happen to me before and I’ve been on the hiring side of things to experience it.
I had the same thing to just happen to me. And they want an verbal answer before releasing the written offer. Told them it in writing and a few days to think about it. They have been calling me constantly everyday since for a answer. This is screaming red flag to me.
Usually happened if they know you are interviewing with other companies and they don’t want to miss out.
