After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Be true to yourself …. No company will think of you first
Exactly!

As long as you’re okay never returning to that company… just act like you were never there.

That’s the part that gives me pause too. It’s not so much about going back to that company, it’s more about how it looks in a smaller market where people talk.
Make the best choice for yourself. Companies will
You do what is best for you. You know the companies will do what is best for them, and not think twice about letting people go.
You be honest with your current employer add they may make you a better offer so they don’t have to go through the hiring process again.
Following. Interested because I’m 3 months into a new role, but don’t know if it’s the right fit for me. But don’t know how bad it looks to leave for another opp
Always think of yourself first. I would always do what’s best for me before worrying about what’s best for another company. I would explain myself and the situation and explain that’s the reason you’re leaving
Do what you want .
Make your best decision and tell the other company don't ghost them.
That last part earns at least a little respect. The number of people that ghost and don't start on day one.
Do what is best for you. There is NO loyalty in business. You current employer would not hesitate to make a business decision to lay you off if it improved its financials. If the offer is a better fit and makes more sense financially, provide your two weeks notice and leave.
I’ve left jobs after two or three months, and in quick succession, and it hasn’t negatively impacted me because I also have stable, years long positions on my résumé. Always put your own best interests ahead of the company. This scenario happens more than you’d think.
I just had this exact thing happen to me with two senior executive offers. I had already agreed to the position of offer one and was only waiting for the offer letter. I received a second verbal offer with higher salary and a great company. I turned it down.
At some point your word has to mean something. You accepted the position and have an obligation to do the job you were hired to do. If you are willing to explain to them your circumstances they may simply agree the other job is a better fit for you.
As for the comments, no company would care about you, I would say that is not their responsibility. They are offering a wage to trade with you 8 or so hours per day. It’s a barter. What comes from it you make out of it.
