It’s not bad! I flew delta and they’re keeping all middle seats empty. Security was super short for me. I’d bring some hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes

Based on some recent studies, the safest place to be on the plane is to lay flat in an overhead bin with a pillow, blanket, mask, and oxygen tank.
I think United and American have now stopped blocking middle seats. However it seems that many people are still avoiding air travel so it may not be an issue. I know someone that took a flight a last week from Orlando to Chicago, and said it was about 30% booked.
On the flip side, Delta does not have HEPA air filtration on all mainline aircraft, as many are much older than UA/AA/WN
I flew last week. Had to wear a mask and they weren’t serving beverages or snacks on the flight. I think that part depends on your airline and how long your flight is. I’d just get a snack and bottled water before your flight if you think you’ll need it. Also lots of restaurants and bars are closed in airports so not much to do if you have a layover.

there are at least a dozen threads on here about flying. search for “flights” or “airport”
Please be safe! Montana cases have spiked recently because they had an influx of tourists and visitors for the 4th and Memorial Day! Many of the folks there have believed the politicizing of the virus so aren't being particularly safe, so I'm worried for my friends/family there!
Is TSA limiting hand sanitizer bottle size to 3oz or less?

isn’t it flammable ? 🔥
I. had to take an emergency flight this week so ended up with United (usually fly Alaska. since I'm from Seattle). The plane was filled to the gills. There was a general sense of anxiety.... everyone obviously wearing masks but uncomfortable being so close to one another. The plane had a 2x2 layout for reference, so I guess no middle seats to begin with.
Flew yesterday (American) - first flight was 100% full 2x2 seater and second was a half full 3x3 with every other row and middle seats empty. This is the 3rd time PC (post COVID) I’ve flown and very hit or miss on how full the flights are. Security is always a breeze though.
Flew this weekend - Alaska. Had most of the middle seats open and required masks when not eating or drinking. Had a family on my flight that seemed to think they were an exception, though, and kept taking masks on and off when they were talking to each other. One woman in the group even laid down on an empty row to sleep without her mask on 🤮 I overall felt ok since most people complied, they spaced seating, I believe the air filter systems on planes are good, and i took all precautionary measures on my end, but you unfortunately get people everywhere who think the rule doesn’t apply to them.
