Have my closing interview with Accenture next week. So far the Director and MD I have met with have both liked me and the recruiter has said that they have both given me a thumbs up and that the upcoming closing interview with the MD is just a conversation. From my research I’ve also read that it’s just a sanity check to make sure I’m not a nutcase. Of course anything can happen, but I’m expecting an offer. (Cont)
McKinsey & Company I am entering in the interview rounds with McKinsey and wondering if anyone had tips, online course advices or materials to share!
Also would anyone be interested or knows anyone to do a coaching session that has already worked in Mckinsey? Thanks! McKinsey & Company @

The consulting foundations has a few aspects.
Week 1 local new hire orientation getting familiar with local office/slalom basics
Week 2 is global consulting so focused on general consulting 101 with all new associates* from different practice areas.
Then you go off into specific academy. With you it would be 2 weeks of data academy will cover off data viz tools and other D&A fundamentals.
Then you join your local team and ready to be staffed to a project. Depending on experience level will depend on projects you work on and ongoing support needed in year 1.
I don’t think anything in those training weeks for most but solid building blocks to get a baseline of understanding and hit ground running.
*the program is focused on associates but consultants can also attend some/all of program to fill in any gaps.
No worries - would recommend connecting with associates on LinkedIn. Sure they’d be happy to share their experience and might even refer you in to recruiter
I’m actually thinking about asking my PL about doing this program. I’m a C, not AC, but I have no prior consulting experience and I feel a bit lost at sea.
The next one is June. If you’re feeling good technically could just go to week 1 for consulting aspects.
Or even ask for the recordings from a previous cohort.
