Great question! I did not personally switch from sales but there are so many transferrable skills. You are playing the long-game now. I like to put myself in my client's shoes and ask myself what would make me want to have a relationship with my company.
Remember for long term relationships, it's about building trust and that means transparency to some level (eg. saying no sometimes, sharing realistic point of views, etc). In the long run, it will help your client relationships and it will help your relationships with the teams internally (no one likes an overpromising client services person who then leaves the team in a tough spot because the promises are not achievable).
