Do as I say, not as I do

Hi folks,
I was holding an offer from Cognizant and on my LWD itself I got an offer from a product based company. I have decided to go there. I called my recruiter for my offer declination, he mentioned, they'll blacklist me. For what time can they blacklist me? Will they blacklist me forever?

I would tell them. If you don’t tell them then you set the tone for a bad relationship. If you do tell them, then you take a gamble but I would think that as attorneys they know that if they pull the offer it’s blatant discrimination and they are at risk, so they wouldn’t be scummy.
If they pull the offer, it is better off you know now. Those would be the same types of employers who give you hard time if you have to leave work to be a mom for an afternoon. So presumably you wouldn’t be happy there anyway.

How much are you planning to take off?
I’d like to take at least 90 days. Preferably 4 months, but unfortunately I don’t think that’s the norm there. I think negotiating leave and paid leave before I accept the offer is too risky, but curious for thoughts on that too.
Thanks. I should mention that I’d be leaving a firm to go in-house.
I’d definitely tell them before accepting.
