OP- the TDP has a set salary for their hires and it is not negotiable. Perhaps someone has heard of one-offs, but I haven’t. It’s a pretty firm offer. You can also ask your recruiter, but be prepared to hear “no”. If you have 2 years experience in anything remotely connected to professional work, you should at least come in as a Senior Analyst at Accenture. Still a part of the TDP, but I’d be hesitant to come in as a straight up analyst. The B4 probably wouldn’t do that to you, but ACN is a bit different in that regard
I came into TDP with 1 YOE elsewhere and I was definitely lowballed compared to other analysts in TDP and CDP. Focused on kicking ass and networking, eventually transferred into the strategy analyst program even though I was stuck at analyst >1 year. Then took that experience and pivoted to FAANG. You can get some really good experience but you’ll have to work for it
Yes. You’ll need to bring a competitor offer letter and contact your PL or your HRCA. After that, you can receive a discretionary OCA that will match. Not a guarantee and be prepared to walk but ACCN will counter before letting you leave if you’re a solid performer.
Just to clarify, I don’t work there yet, but rather I just got an offer for the TDP. Is that still applicable?
If your comp is flat nkt sure why you would jump ship for a meat grinder anyways.
Can you explain why it’s a meat grinder? I like hearing other people’s experiences just so I can take them into consideration.
Personally, I’m early career and still trying to define what industry or career path I’m more passionate about. From the conversations I’ve had with other people and ex-employees, I could be able to do that in Accenture and def not in my current company. I don’t dislike my current job, I just feel like I need a change.
