Hi everyone, I have 2 years of experience in a service based industry as a Java developer, and I am eager to work hard and switch to a reputed product based organisation, but I am not getting proper time to study and practice data structures and algorithms, as I have so much to learn and understand things which are related to my project. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I'll try to inculcate it. Thanks in advance! Amazon Oracle Samsung Microsoft Cisco Salesforce Arcesium Uber

Yeah this is off. That package is not for a “senior” anything role at Splunk. Splunk does in fact pay very well. Roles with senior in the title bring a 20% bonus and hefty stock package. And the stock price has nothing to do with comp. If anything it’s helping a lot of people pick up a lot of shares that have a high likelihood to pay off in the future.
Source: I have worked and hired at Splunk.
Thank you!
What do you do at Deloitte

Yeah, definitely low for that YOE. But what about the total comp?

I thought Splunk was known for paying well? Maybe it’s just a meh role?
Thats what i thought too. But, have you checked their stock performance in the past year. Most tech companies are doubled in value, and Splunk has gone the other way around. lol. That sums up why they are struggling to pay a competitive package 😏
I’m a senior director at splunk too now and yes they pay well! You have applied for wrong role friend.
