I got H1B Visa and 83000 USD dollar petition amount as annual package.I am confused as this amount will be enough to survive there with wife and 7 year old daughter. My wife is working here and together we are earning 50LPA annual. We are settled here by owning house too.Confusion is my wife will not be able to work there on H4 Visa so the kind of life we are living here will not be possible there.Thoughts?Suggestions?Pros and Cons?

I would look at Hyatt hotels too. Hyatt is a chase transfer partner and you can definitely get a lot more value.
As always, it’s usually on a per flight basis and depends on your flexibility. Where you’re going to get outsized value is using points for the unicorn miles business/first class award ticket. If it’s economy, I’ve found it’s usually a toss up what provides the better value.
I 2nd Hyatt. I use them to book ski resort hotels during peak season. Typically average around 3-4 cents per point
Is 1.5x pay yourself back a bad call? Seems like free money tbh.
I would literally buy Hyatt points for 1.5 cents per point all day
Transfer. But gotta find the award flight first before transferring
First class flights through transferring points to an airline.
Transfer to Hyatt.
Use through portal.
Cash out (I like this the best, because there are always other ways to get hotel and airline points).

I cashed out 100% of my points using the 1.5x dining bonus
Same.
It depends on the specific situation. In general, buying tickets and getting the 1.5 cents per point is probably better for coach. You get miles/status. You will probably get a better return transferring points if you are flying business or first.

If you're looking to book business, then transfer. Otherwise, 1.5x sometimes get you higher value then an economy award ticket.
Transfer to Hyatt!!!
