Lol do you really think the grass is greener on the other side???? I guess you'll have to find out. Check out capgeminis rankings. You make this move and its definitely a step backwards in your career.

As a staff consultant at Cap, you will likely do a lot of staff aug stuff and without an MBA, it will be challenging to advance and your pay will lag behind those with an MBA. Getting out, staff consultant at Cap doesn't look as good on a résumé as Deloitte. Take it as you like.

You. The firm. The intersection.

like

Don't go to capgemini.

like

FYI - I am not in Deloitte but do consider it to be better than a company like capgemini. What's the reason for your thought process ?

like

not worth getting into. sounds petty without context and I find no need to justify my position honestly. it has been well thought through though

like

"Check out the rankings" yep you're a Deloitter life lol

like

enough to know that jaded people like you have opinions that should be taken with a grain of salt

Mind you, at higher levels, Capgemini gets more interesting, since my impression is that have more autonomy to do what you want than in other firms

like

^ cap1 speaks truth. I'm an SC at Cap so I'm doing some pretty cool stuff. But if you're coming in at a level lower than SC, I'd reconsider.

Jesus that's a wonderful answer for 5 short words. Thank you kind sir/madam

lol anything is better than Deloitte at this point

Ok got it. All the best with your interview

Good luck OP'

Capgemini (IT implementations) or Capgemini Consulting (strategy & management consulting)? Makes a big difference... Capgemini Consulting NA is going through some big changes these days

like

If it's CCNA & you're in a position to sell your own work, they'll probably want to know what new business/methodologies/networks you can bring to the firm

Hey, another question for y’all. How should I reach out to a recruiter who offered me a full time position but I rejected for a better offer? How would you approach this situation? Thanks in advance!!

Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad. My current company and many others I know about do not offer the mobility to do so until much later, which is not what I want. Thank you.

Inspired by one of my kids' favorite books, I penned this masterpiece of an Ode to Consulting:

One senior partner all alone
Calls two managing directors on the phone
Three associate partners at the door
Bring along another four
Five senior managers come overdressed
Six managers show up with a guest
Seven senior consultants arrive in a sack
Eight associates sneak in the back
Nine analysts come to work
ALL THE CONSULTANTS GO BERSERK!!!

Ok, I'll show myself out now... 😂
