Why don't peope opt in favour of WFH and then they will the option of working from anywhere. People can roam in any part of world, enjoy their holidays and what not.

So I've been at my job for 5+ years as a data analyst/back office support team. I made my way up into making a little over $40k. I've been WFH the past 2 yrs and overtime more than half my team has now been pulled out to work for a diff department which resulted in me taking 90% of our daily tasks to handle. I'm at a point where the salary I'm getting is disrespectfully low for all the work I do. Should I ask for a raise? And if so, how do I go about asking without sounding greedy.
