My ctc excluding employer pf is 12.58lpa. i invstd 96k in elss and 40k in lic. Along with this 48k epf and 2.4k as PFtax. HS rnt is 1.2LPA. I covered whole 80c but still 13k was deducted as tax this month. I am unmarried and don't want to take any medical insurance premiums. Any ideas how this 13k was came as Income tax?

What’s the deal with Makers? I don’t understand their business model. Seems like they are making a ton of money - but how? And how do they pay the producers that work there? What’s a typical salary?

So I’m in industry from big 4, and a colleague with same yoe comes from MBB. High paying tech firm. I think I work harder and produce quality content at speed, but they can hold executive conversations that tend to impress senior stakeholders.

Big 4 produces work horses and MBB produces leaders. Also they could be a work horse too since I don’t have full visibility.

Anyone have similar experiences or do I just suck at executive stakeholder management?
