Have an offer to move to a new firm. Current and new are “biglaw” but black box comp/not lockstep. New firm would be significant salary/reputation bump. I would work closely with a former partner colleague, so not starting from scratch. However, I’d be limited to one practice area. New firm wants decision ASAP but I have a late stage interview at a second new firm, also “biglaw” black box. Went for a pre-employment drug test yesterday. They never asked me if I was on any medications. I had to ask them and was told "oh yeah, just put any you may think make a difference in this text box." I put Xanax, Flexeril, and gabapentin. All of which are prescribed and used as directed. Now I'm terrified that I should have put ALL my meds, to including my psych meds. I've been sober over 12 years and never touched drugs (just booze) but I'm having a full blown panic attack.

We have motion sensor lights in my office and the sensor is far from my desk. Consequently, if I'm on a long WebEx, the lights go out and it's embarrassing. The building won't change the sensor.
