Has the recruiting process improved? In other words, are they still doing the homework case assignment? Should I even bother at this point?

Got an Amazon offer (they reached out to me, interview process lasted several months) but discovered I was pregnant after getting the offer. For medical reasons and complicated history of miscarriages, I can't commit to a start date prior to delivery. In order to be transparent, I have shared the news with the recruiter. Should I expect them to withdraw the offer/any advice on what to do?

I’m torn between 2 offers. One as a Managing Consultant at a boutique talent consulting firm and one as a Talent/OD Lead in industry. My long term goal is to become a Director/VP one day. People are telling to go for the industry role then but I kind of still want to be in consulting for a few more years. Will it be harder for me to make the switch later to a more senior role in HR from consulting than to climb the ranks at one company?

Like a dumb dumb took an offer with a foreign startup rather then T2 firm 6 months ago and now I’m 1.5 years out of college with decent experience but it’s all over the place and ranges from niche technical consulting to broad client facing market research and strategy.
