Bain & Company I received an offer to join Bain & Company for SF office but due to family reasons, I will have to stay in the South Bay. Given Bain’s local staffing model, it will be challenging for me to commute to SF and back. Is it possible to be transferred to the palo alto office/is that office fully functioning or does it mainly serve as a hub for partners and research?

Slalom build is a cool place if you want greenfield work. Plus WLB is solid at slalom. If you want to be client facing then go slalom, if you want to be out of consulting then pick McDonalds. Don’t see a losing scenario here unless there’s stuff you aren’t saying.
Personally? I’d pick slalom because it could open a door to a larger PSO firm/better exit ops, and since build is greenfield net new stuff it’ll continue to build your tool belt.

I interviewed with them while interviewing with google and honestly I was pretty impressed.
When you tell your friends family or a stranger that you work at McDonald's, first thing they'll think of is that you lost a bunch of money gambling in crypto or nft or options which led you to flipping burgers. Choose wisely! 😃
@D2: Please. Okay.. whatever. You get the point. #dontbeTHATguy.🙄
Come here, we’d love to have you! The WLB is real, the teams are amazing, and you get to be part of building a fast-moving organization
I worked in IT for a regional fast food company and my career opportunities were severely limited because IT was not their core competency. The IT org was a small group and someone would have had to quit or die for me to move up the ladder. McD may be big enough for this not to be an issue, but I suspect not. Just my take on it.
