Hi all! Was wondering if anyone could give a referral/insight into moving into sustainability/climate roles in big4, mbb or at CBRE . I have 5 years exp in research analysis/data wrangling/business development in nonprofit and industry consulting, but I want to pivot to sustainability/environment work as its something I really enjoy. My education is in environmental policy and I have internships in renewables/built environment. KPMG PwC Boston Consulting Group
Hi Folks,

I had joined KPMG(KGS) on April 2022, during the interview i have been told that i would be working on Java Backend Development as my background belongs to same technology and my interview was also happened on Java/Spring/Microservices; but they put me on Low-Code / No code Platform and its totally tool based work. I am frustrated with the current work as i didnt find anything productive to learn.Continued in com KPMG @
Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

Having been at McK I’ve seen the full range from very smart to very dumb to the point you wonder how they got in. Majority are normal people. So don’t put them on pedestal. You don’t need to worry about them at all, just focus on your own interview and demonstrating your abilities.
How they got in is DEI
Honestly, tell yourself it's not that serious (bc it isn't). The world won't end if you don't do well on the interview/get the job. I've found this shift in mindset took a lot of pressure off and helped me get out of my own head
You don’t know anything

You are an impostor, interviewing with a bunch of imposters. Accept that and it will be easier.
Nope you guys are not me all these platforms are worthless

Sometimes in their pants, nobody is perfect
This might sound a bit intense, but I used it as motivation. Being around people that impressive pushed me to prepare a lot more, especially for case interviews. I figured if I wasn’t the smartest in the room, I could at least be the hardest worker.
You gotta get out of your own head. You got the interview
Why does everyone feel like an imposter when they are around smart people?
