This keeps happening to me. I was basically told I was not qualified for my old job. I left and moved away, moved back years later to see a similar position open. I can only think they don't want people from previous management back.

I am trying to justify house buying in HCOL city. The house cost is minimum 1.4m .monthly mortgage would be at least 7k(with just around 2k principal) rest goes to either int,tax. Journalism is the best job in the world but I feel like people are less likely to take my work seriously because I am female.
