Former QA here and it’s so nice to see someone notices and appreciates the effort.
Pro
I appreciate you saying that.
Our QA team is rockstars.
Pro
Glad to hear that. Hold onto your rockstars. They're the reason your users never know something went wrong.
We sure do. Anyone who has been in IT long enough knows how thankless a job QA is but also how critical. They absolutely SAVE developers, users and organizations from disaster. Major respect for QA.
Pro
"Thankless but critical" that's the QA motto. Thanks for seeing it
I do in my work! Lifelong UX Designer and UX Strategist here - working closely with Developers and QA is essential, I've always worked closely with them and appreciate the craft and contributions, especially when it's things that are critical at large scale, which I have!
Pro
UX + QA together is such a powerful combo. You get it. The craft matters most when no one notices it working.
This sounds normal. It doesn't make the news when the bridge doesn't collapse or the car doesn't catch fire.
Pro
That bridge analogy is perfect. No one claps for what didn't fall apart. But maybe we should start.
