Have you ever successfully grown your own herbs for cooking? I never have and I'm trying to see if it's worth it.

I've grown chives, mint, basil, and chervil in pots indoors, and rosemary grows like a tree here outdoors. Used to grow chives outdoors as a kid. Basil is a bit of a queen but the others are all quite robust (especially mint, seriously, you'll never get rid of it if it's not in a pot)

It's more work than buying fresh herbs from a grocery store, but it's convenient always having them on hand.

Fresh mint tea is extremely delicious.

Every year. Love having fresh basil on hand for pizza, pasta, caprese salads

I also grow mint in a pot for summertime mojitos. Keep this in a pot though if you’re growing it outside, it spreads like crazy if you put it in the ground

Yes, have had a rosemary for years now. I grow others seasinally. As someone who cooks for one, it's just more practical to have access to just the amount I need rather than spend money on store bought that goes bad before I use it all.

Why do we always tell people “Be the best version of yourself before starting a relationship?”
I feel this is wrong…first, if you’re someone who constantly wants to be better, this doesn’t work. Also, what happens when you’re going through things and you’re not the best version? What happens is…the going gets tough and then one person leaves the other.
