Have you ever tried to bring about a change/stood up for something at home/office etc. Did it succeed/fail? How was the experience?

Let’s talk office set ups. I am looking at a Uplift standing desk as my big splurge because I have back issues, and the room I work in has horrible lighting so I’m considering some sort of selfie light ring type thing that I can clip to my monitor. Anyone have feedback on either the desk or a light they like, or any other ergo friendly home office hacks you’ve found helpful?

Is anyone’s wfh office chair getting less “springy” over time? Mine just doesn’t have the same umph it had before, constantly lowering throughout the day.

1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment. I’m hoping to find something that’s easy to assemble and break down for when I need to move, and something that won’t cost an arm and a leg.

I know everyone has a different kind of setup that works for them. I currently have a laptop, drawing pad, second monitor, and a desk riser.

I recently moved to JioFiber and took postpaid plan and paid for 3 months advance.

Now I saw the bill was generated after 2 months of usage. When enquired the customer care said since it's a postpaid plan and company keeps 1 month as security so you have to pay from 3rd month?
