Hi, I got a offer from HCL stating that joining within a month. As per my company policy - 60 days NP. I tried a lot for buyout option and leave adjustment in my current company. It’s so hard to get talent. As long as you’re respectful about it you have nothing to worry about. I recommend negotiating salary since it has a compounding effect…future raises will typically be a percentage of current base…you want the base as high as possible
Stage is once you get the initial offer. HR likely had a comp convo with you along the way…see what they offer and then counter
Negotiate just when they are giving you verbal offer. Be respectful and be ready to explain why you deserve it.
If you are interviewing with another big 4 or FAANG then they don’t care about visa fees and stuff. They just need great talent
Just bring it up, don’t be afraid
