Having an issue with someone from another department who has always been rude and made us go out of our way to appease them but won’t return the favor. Today she asked for a 6 months of calculations (their team sends the file to us in the first place btw)… the calculation is the same every month and file format as well. So I sent 4 months of files and she turns around and claims she isn’t “weaving through” all the files and will review when I send a summary…why can’t she make her own summary? 🙄

I’ve been working for a small investment firm for about a year and am having some issues with my boss. Junior here. How common is it to be nudged off a brief when you can't get ideas through internally? My partner and I are often put on the same briefs as more experienced (sometimes senior) teams.
