Heard people who have joined before May 31st have received a salary revision, any idea if there will be raise for people who joined between May 31st to Jul 1st?

My recruiter told me anyone who joins before july 1st would be eligible when I join, but now seems like we have to wait until next year, any insights?

Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay? The gap will never be closed to the top pay scale at my firm but when I decided to come to this firm the pay difference was about 15 percent and not 30.
