Switching team internally competing with external candidates. was asking a promotion for next grade midpoint but was ok to accept >=50% hike which i told hiring manager before the process start itself which he said will consider if I'm the one selected.

Attended 5 rounds-- 1 coding, 2 technical, 1 managerial, 1 hr. Now after 2 months telling me I'm the selected one, but offering me just 20% hike and same grade

Any chance for negotiations? Any tips or guidance are appreciated. please help

I'm currently a property accountant with an MBA in finance. I desire to earn more income considering my credentials and experience. I currently earn 93k and striving to get to 150 or even 200 to be able to live the way I want to live, pay for good schooling for my children, eat organic, travel etc. Even to buy a nice house in a great neighborhood is at lease a million. Why do Big 4 firms interview you for a specific position level and then try to make you come in below that level...

That would be a lateral move for me in terms of level which be okay if at least it was a good pay increase but Their quoted pay range for the lower level would make it almost a lateral move financially too..

My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. It’s an executive director position, so I would assume it’s a decent target bonus, but without that in writing it could honestly be a gift basket at the end of the year. Is it a red flag for them to not share this? His total comp could be less at this new job…

I was a Manager at a Big4 doing PM fed work earlier this year. I decided to join a small firm to pursue cloud sales. However, the position is extremely technical in nature and I'm required to speak tech ( kubernetes, openshift, CICD) to potential clients.
While I have learned from the exposure, I dont intend to continue in a tech role & looking to exit. I'm thinking of Customer/ Partner Success Manager roles with one of the CSPs. Are there other non tech cloud exit opps in industry to consider?

Do titles in industry matter when exploring an exit? Which title seems better - Principal - Strategy or Senior Director - Strategy if everything else is equal.
