Quit my job and it felt so good, my Manager was an extraordinarily nasty person! Wondering if I should give HR the real feedback at the exit interview or just pretend everything is okay and move on. Thoughts? Manager has no empathy, has a clique within the team and openly plays favourite within the team. Example with flexible holiday her favourites can take 30 days a year but others like me are not allowed above 15 days. Will it make a difference telling HR for the sake of others in the future?

Recently I've interviewed at company X for an entry role (investment services and fund accounting) my interview went amazingly well, but I got a rejection mail. When I asked the HR for a feedback call, she told me I needed to do more "research" about the company. Does this usually happen?

TFW a recruiter tells you that the agency is pausing its interviewing process because they’re waiting on project renewals & that this will take a couple weeks. Fast forward three/four days, the same exact job listing is reposted. Just say I was rejected, Nina!!

Has anyone lost an offer of employment because they didn't reply with a decision in time?

If so what was the length of delay and what was your excuse to the recruiter?

I feel like during the interviewing process you may have multiple interviewers and processes that go along with that, which means you may need time to compare offers. I want to be honest with the recruiter and say I am going to have to wait and compare offers when they are all on the table, which would be ~1 month.

Interviewing for a Director role soon. Wondering how the questions will be? The last time I interviewed was for a Specialist position and the questions were the typical “tell me about a time when xyz happened and how did you handle it?” But maybe these questions are to elementary for Director level? So anyone know what I can expect so I can best prepare?

Anyone have experience with Dept of Public Safety? Are they disorganized? Do they have a bad culture? I am starting to think they suck based on my application experience with them , compared to other state agencies.

Looking for advice on project management software or tools for HR consulting. Our firm doesn’t have anything that is standard or used at all, and while some of us are starting to venture into using Microsoft Teams, I feel like there are so many tools out there and we could be doing things way more efficiently. We work in small client teams (1-3 team members per client usually) and it’s a mix of strategy, tactical, and outsourced HR work. Any suggestions?

Combined my SO and I make around $350k a year including bonuses. Every time we do monthly expenses it seems like my SO is living pay check to pay check yet when I ask it’s unclear as to where the money is going.. Does any one have any tips for how I can get my SO to sit down with me to go line by line of everything in order for us to figure out where the money is actually going? My book shows better work and more awards then anyone at my agency. Experience is more varied and diverse than my boss. I am the only woman CD. Was given the least exciting clients. Junior most creative to work on projects. Still managed to make creative work and win some shiny things. Got burnt out after 5 years. Told them so. Got laid off. Have seen this happen to other female CD too in the past. Maybe it’s me. Maybe it’s them. But seriously reconsidering advertising.
