I would not list them or even put that they are available upon request on your resume. If they want references, they will ask for them.
I recommend against listing your current bosses as references. Are there other higher level attorneys that you could rely on for references?
Interesting! Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, my bosses are all there is for my references in the legal field.
If it gets to the point where someone wants references they'll ask and you can provide them at that point. I wouldn't list any at first simply because I think it unwise to provide someone's contact information if I don't know how it might be used or where it might wind up.
I would never put others’ contact information up front. I only provide if it’s needed.
I would not recommend putting references on your resume. You want to be in control of who gets contacted and when. You’ll always want to make sure that you give your reference a heads up and inform them about what you’re hoping their reference will accomplish.
In agreement with not sharing references until later in the process. It’s not as common a practice anymore, from what I’ve seen. I understand your situation is a bit different, but I always feel it’s better to bother the people vouching for me the least number of times possible.
