McKinsey & Company I received an offer from McKinsey & Company in 2021 and I’ll be starting later this year after graduation. Obviously because of the pandemic, inflation is slowly trending upwards. Has anyone asked for a base salary increase before even starting the job? Any advice on how to approach this?

If you’re working remotely from the UK for a US company then you don’t need a US visa.
You’re not applying to work in the US so the answer to the question “do you need a visa for the country you’re applying to work in?” Is no.
Are you stopping the application process or is the system saying that the company doesn’t offer any visa option? I’d consider looking for companies that specially offer or promote it and go after them. Not sure what the experience is over there, but remote work in general in the US is kind of hard to get into no matter where your location is.
My experience as a UK person working remotely for a global company. Our global company has a UK legal entity so I work for them when it comes to payslips etc. However people in Canada for example, since there is no legal entity there, cant be employed directly by the the US entity. They have to be contractors. Which seems wild!
