I recently finished my UI/UX portfolio and now looking for internship or fresher job to get guidance and learn more as my parents don't understand design and thinks that there no career in that and getting one is the only solution to learn more cause as no of amazing design i watch daily increases my interest to get into it increases too.it It would be lovely to work on real time projects and to learn from some one into the field from a good time.

Has anyone here considered leaving healthcare altogether? I am really drawn by a role in tech, but I know it's such a big leap. I have a friend who did this though, and she is making even more than I have made as a travel nurse. Is it an anomaly or a real possibility?

Graduating senior. Have choices between MBB and SWE at FAANG. Not sure what to do. Long term I’d love to be in a small startup or a leader in a tech company. Not sure which path is better for that. Any thoughts?

Feel like I’ve come to a point in my consulting career where I’ve reached the end of what this job can provide me, career-wise and as an opportunity for personal/professional development. Is our industry as competitive as some say? I see a lot of people saying this and I work with a bunch of hacks (myself included). I need some legit feedback on what is it like to be a UXD at companies like Accenture?
They claim to do a lot of research oriented designs, as everyone. But is that really the case or it's like some other service based companies where the UX is almost vague, and happens mostly based on what the managers think to be good?

Does UX have any value or it's just drafting wireframes based on ideations by the managers and then UI designs?
