Bain & Company I’m currently prepping for Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company interviews scheduled in the next 2 months. For those that interviewed with both, how would you suggest I tailor my preparation for each one? I understand McKinsey is interviewer led while Bain is the opposite. But other than that, is there anything else I should work on separately for each one?

Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

I know this might not answer your question but:
At KPMG interview I was given a laptop with Excel and Alteryx and was asked 10 questions about a dataset. Using a combo of filters, joins, pivots, I answered them all.
At PwC interview I was given two cases : a qualitative one about a hypothesis driven approach to solve a client question and a quantitative one about interpreting some commercial information to give a rudimentary financial model to answer a question: bid or not bid?
Both for M&A analytics, both pre-pandemic
It's a "decision analysis" case : go or no go.
1. Determine how we discriminate between go or no go.
2. Calculate the result
3. Compare result with the decision criteria.
Pretty standard case. If you can do one of the market sizing calculations that's typically done in case interviews you'll be able to nail this one.
I actually got all the things you had mentioned. I was given access to desktop through zoom where I had to do all the data modeling and answers questions to the case.
Honestly it wasn’t that tough but the whole screen sharing thing was horrific and really slow
@OP good luck with your application, hope to hear of your success here!
