Off topic: I am stuck in a service based company for last 4 years in a shitty project. The work I do can be done by a 12th grader. Now i want to move out by learning something new & changing my domain. But the thing is I am not able to study because I am stuck in a comfort zone and learning new thing gives me bad anxiety. It feels like I will never learn & be forever stuck here. Pls help on how to come out of comfort zone, learn things and apply for the job. Tata Consultancy Infosys Wipro

Try to get certification and work on some side projects look for projects within TCS. Spend at-least 3 years (situational ) in TCS, then look else where
Chief
U do diploma courses...iiit offering good course ..look for ratings as well..it takes years but as a fresher u can join as data engineer either in TCS or try new companies ... parallely attend classes and interviews as well
I will surely look into it...Thank you so much for the smart suggestion.
Bro why ur leaving? Due work load ? Or toxic work culture?
I have a frnd in tcs whose from mechanical engineering. He was working in tcs for 4 years and decided to switch. He got offered with onsite opportunity in Canada for 2 years.
He is an automation tester too. You can follow same roadmap as you already do the testing stuff and you'll just get better at it.
I would suggest you to explore a few other options as well, and go for higher education if you're really passionate about it. Don't fall for edtech companies claiming to make you a data scientist within 6 months - 1 year.
Hi, ping me i can help you into proper roadmap.
Bhai Bahar kisiko mat bata Mechanical hu bol k chila chila k mat bol. Koi pas ni ata. So just show ur experience 6 mahine ka kyu na ho😂😅
NielsenIQ is one of the good companies to start with your data science career. AFAIK you need to learn Python, Spark & Scala to start with.
Don't go for data science, every one who want to switch profile wants to move data science
This field is overcrowded and hyped by edtech companies. There are still requirement of developers, testers etc.
For selenium/Tosca automation with 2 years of experience you can expect 120-150% hike.
