It's almost 1 year over here and I am thinking of switching my domain from designing to somewhere towards Functional safety systems in automotive and I also have a good experience on brakes system also my current CTC is lpa. What are the domains where I can switch?

I’ve been in TA for 10 years and have been wanting to be an HRBP for 2 years now. My prior company had no interest in helping me develop and started with a new company 4 months ago. Looking for advice - I doubled my scope in the last few months, and have been seeking a promotion and raise to match my increased scope. The company is offering me a title increase with no change in comp until the next cycle (Feb ‘23), and a 1 year cash retention bonus (stay for a year or have to give it back). My concerns are that if I sign the retention bonus, the company no longer has an incentive to give me a good raise in February,l. Thoughts?
