I gave my interview last Tuesday in Accenture. It's been more than a week I haven't heard anything from them. I was trying to reach out to the Recruiter but her phone is switched off.
Also I cannot track the role as they picked up cv from their database and scheduled an interview.
Can anyone please guide?

Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?

Got rejected by all of 5 of my schools. No interest in R2 now. Feel so dejected, and also unsure as to what I did wrong having been interviewed at each of those universities.

Just venting here… At WAS for an adjustment interview based on an affirmative asylum and the officer said he’s never done and affirmative adjustment before… and questioned my client when he said that he has never been in proceedings. Officer said “I don’t agree with that, I think you *have* been in proceedings” when we submitted the affirmative asylum approval and I had to show that to him smh. Why aren’t they training these officers 😭

Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time.

Also, if a sophomore or junior doesn’t get a finance-related summer internship (I.e tech) and aims for an IB SA or FT position, is it harder to break in?

The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

Hi Accenture people, got offer today, asked HR about project, she mentioned it will be mapped on first day itself and will be connected with project manager. I told her i need details about the project and she said she will talk to project manager and get back to me tommorrow. Everyone says we have to search project after joining only. I’m currently an associate (no kids) in a very busy corp group (think 50-60 billable weekly). My wife works significantly less (currently part time, 10-15, but hopefully will be full time soon). I find myself getting upset when asked to help with basic household things (trash, cooking etc.) when she’s been lounging around watching Netflix all day. Am I being reasonable or am I a misogynist? How do you deal with one person having significantly more free time than the other?

About to get promoted at PwC from Associate to Senior Associate (mgmt consulting). I interviewed at Deloitte for a Consultant position, but they’re potentially giving me an offer for BA. I’d essentially be holding out on the promo until next promo cycle. Usually, I’d understand hiring at a level below for higher levels but I feel like doing a 3rd year as a junior might not be the best decision. Should I push HR for Consultant level? I haven’t gotten the official offer letter yet, just verbal.

I have joined a company on 4th Feb, through consultancy on contract to hire basis.
I only received the job offer letter from the consultancy, but no Appointment Letter is given yet.
So since it's 10-15 day, since I joined. Can I leave this company, since I've got a better offer, with my suitable location.
PS: I have also received the laptop, but didn't login or do anything yet.
Please help me, can I still leave the company? And return the laptop to them. Or I have to continue here itself?
