Hello everyone, I need some help.

I have been on the bench for the last 60 days, and HR informed me a few days ago that June 12 will be my last working day.

Will I be eligible for severance pay? HR is saying that the Gurgaon office is a separate entity and therefore will not provide any severance. They also mentioned that they do not follow the same policies or rules that are followed at other GL locations.

Has anyone been in a similar situation or can provide some guidance?

Have an offer to join a fairly new family office investment team in PE buyouts but will be a fairly significant cash pay cut vs what I was making in tech corp dev. I’ve always been interested in doing investing. All things being equal, is there better upside to take the fam office to do PE (at a pay cut for now), or go do another corp dev job? 6-7 YOE

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs.
